In this article it appears to be that Red Hat will come back to the linux desktop. If this is true will it last and then what becomes of Fedora ? I for one would be very happy to see a return of Red Hat for the linux desktop and for the home user. This is one to keep an eye on.

I recently have been receiving alot of emails from as-devel or the Afterstep development list about alot of changes going on. Hopefully this means Sasha and the gang are gearing up for a new release!! For those of you not familiar with Afterstep, it is a window manager for linux with so many configuration options it will make you head spin. You can check it out here Afterstep
you know that guy with the sign ?

You remember all the movies and tv shows you have seen with that one guy with the sign that says ” The End Is Near!”
Well after listening to alot of talk radio today and seeing that tonight they pushed the stimulus package up to 920 billion dollars I think someone needs to find this guy and hire him to stand outside the capitol building. After hearing all the ways this money is gonna get divided up and where some of this money is earmarked to go he may be the only person on the planet who knows what is going on. I am at a lost for words on what to say about this whole thing, but I fear things are not going to get any better anytime soon.
